Flashback
Tomorrow is Cals official last day of preschool (but not at Meher). So I found photos of his first day...

Safety Town week
Calvin is enjoying Safety Town this week. He is at the Post Office in the light blue group with his counselors, Annie and Nick (no joke).

Grandma and Grandpa were also embarrassed by his long hair and got him a haircut. And apparently gave him a lot of candy.

All for the ‘gram
Ellie made her camp’s Instagram account and it’s a great photo of her doing archery!

Summer Reading
Well the kids returned to the library for their first reading prize. Calvin has been diligent in reading every morning and evening and writing down his days that he read. Ellie has been engrossed in a book series about an 11-year old that gets kidnapped (no nightmares yet...). Calvin even drew a picture book report. Of course after getting their prizes this evening, the real draw of the library was the rocks outside which they had fun jumping off of, onto, and climbing.

Fathers Day 2019
We spent more than half the day at Dodger Stadium watching baseball and eating too much food. Nick scores the rich people seats from work basically on the field and all you can eat and drink (soda). There is a private restaurant and bathroom and it’s super swank. Not to mention the view of baseball is pretty nice. Too bad the Cubbies lost...but then we got to play catch on the field. And we made national TV when a guy caught a foul ball feet from us...well, had Nick wanted it he could have gotten it but he said it wasn’t worth getting in a scuffle with adult men over a baseball. My face is obviously judging the choices of some grown men...(friends were texting us screen shots of us on TV) Ellie’s face is a little judgey too.
