Long weekend

Cal didn't have school on Friday. Everyone (except Nick) was off yesterday. It was a long weekend. But it was also a LONG weekend. We spent Saturday at Kidspace (children's museum in Pasadena) and then the Orange County Science Discovery Center on Sunday. And then we went to the zoo yesterday. Lots of long days.

And on top of it all Cal is teething and in a growth spurt. He is now good at sitting. And we started solid foods.

This morning was a bit of a rush. I wanted to get some cereal into Cal but he was distracted by his sister.






Ellie declared that she wanted to buy her lunch everyday this week. So I set up an account and prepaid for many lunches for her. We shall see how the week goes and if she really wants to buy everyday. I think the allure will wear off pretty quickly.

Beside all our crazy adventures Ellie and I made paper yesterday. At the Discovery Center gift shop there was a paper recycling kit. So we made some paper from paper set to be recycled. It was our first go and we shall see how it turns out (has to dry). It was fun.
