We are removing the ~20 year old rooftop package unit and replacing it with a split system with an attic furnace and ground supported A/C condenser. We are also replacing all our ductwork, registers, and thermostat. And apparently where the contractor is disrupting the insulation to take the old stuff out, he will also install new insulation...the good stuff. Expensive surprise at the end of the year, but it's a good thing overall and would have to be done eventually anyway.
Today all the old came out!
The schedule has everything being completed by Friday.
