Cal's report card had some "N"s for Needs Improvement. Of course these were categories dealing with Calvin controlling his body in the classroom (climbing OVER tables is not okay, and one is supposed to sit still during circle time) as well as respecting others feelings and taking directions from adults...so he's. 3-year-old boy. But he also is strong willed and opinionated.
They also made a book at school celebrating all the diversity of the kids. They were asked to describe their skin and hair colors as well as eye color and talk a little about themselves. Here is Calvins page.
