Our first adventure involves going to Disneyland on the Saturday before Christmas. It was crowded but not overly so and we did everything we wanted. As Calvin is now 40.5” tall it meant he could ride the big-kid rides...although, just because one is tall enough doesn’t mean he’s ready. He loved the Cars Land ride and thunder mountain. He also loved Soarin and we rode it twice. We also rode the swings in California Adventure a couple times. He hated Tower of Terror and it may be a while before he rides Space Mountain again...he peed his pants, just slightly. Splash Mountain, the one he was looking forward the most ended up not being a favorite ride. He also got to meet the Incredibles, those of us taller than 4 feet rode the new IncrediCoaster, which is awesome! And of course we did our other favorites, Buzz, Toy story, pirates...the usuals. It was a LONG day and he didn’t even make it back to the car awake.
