Swim and braces

This is Es first week of summer camp. This week it is Swim Camp at the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center. It’s new to us but been around for decades. So far she’s enjoying it besides the sunburn and red itchy chlorine eyes. She has enjoyed the diving lessons and swimming races. Apparently she’s in one of the top swim groups. Two “friends” (they aren’t friends because they are boys...even though she has spent 8-10 hours a Day with these boys since kindergarten and our families are friends) from school are there but she has made a new friend with a girl who will be a 5th graders at Sierra Madre Elem next year. Tomorrow they have a field trip to a laser tag place. So seems to be going well. 

Today she got her braces adjusted and tightened. So tomorrow she will be sore..
