The never ending cry

Dude was FUSSY this morning. He cried from 6:30 (after he was done eating) all during the morning routine (whether I was holding him or not), the whole car ride, until about 8:05 when he fell asleep in the car as I was pulling into the parking lot of daycare. I tried to transfer a sleeping baby to his crib but it didn't work. But he was happy hanging out with toys on the floor for a few minutes while his teacher got a bottle ready for him.

Congestion? Growth spurt? Both? Yep. We think (we as in me and his teacher) he's in the middle of a growth spurt. So I upped his bottles for school both in ounces and number of bottles. Hopefully we have a better night tonight than last night and the night before. But when he does sleep he is an adorable little man...

Yesterday Ellies teacher did some science experiments with the older kids to discuss liquids, solids, and gases. They made a solid marshmallow a liquid by playing with it with their hands (melting it), played with ice, and blew up balloons to "see air". Photos are from her teacher.

And a pic of a proud Ellie with her completed 6-chain (counting by sixes).
