Happy to be home

I got home last night around 9:00pm, well after both kiddos were sound asleep. Around 1am Cal got a little fussy and so I got to go in and feed him. He was still partially asleep but it was nice to feed him and get some cuddles from him overnight. He went back to sleep easily with only one pacifier put back in and slept until 6am. Upon going into his room when he was awake I got a big smile and immediate cuddles from an awake happy baby. But, he also didn't want me out of his sight at all this morning.

When E work up I got the biggest hug from her. She said she missed me so much that her heart hurt. I'm happy to be home with the kiddos.

Nick was amazing and I think has a new appreciation for all the overnight work with Cal and the crazy rush in the morning. Not to mention how long weekends with the kids by yourself (yeah, remember all those trips he took to Chicago and left me alone with two kids) is tiring and stressful. But they had a lot of fun that in dad I missed.
