Bad boo-boo

Calvin fell and hit his face on a concrete step. It’s not pretty and he’s gonna have a black eye. It’s currently swollen and red. We are monitoring it but he could read with only the eye by the cheek he hit, he could do addition and subtraction and remember facts he knew. So I don’t think it’s anything too serious, but we will watch it. He’s worried about how he will look with a black eye now, which is better than when he came crying in the house worried his eye would fall out...
