Somebody caught their thumb in the car door. Ellie usually opens the front passenger seat door, puts her lunch on the front seat, closes the door, and then climbs into her seat by herself. Today, she caught her thumb in the front passenger seat door. She has a cut and it looked like her nail was turning a little purple so we will keep our eye on it. I washed it and put on. A bandaid and have her ice to keep on it for the car ride. I also told her teacher so they will keep an eye on it today as well.
Yesterday Ellie requested the Grandma Pam pasta with the squiggly noodles. So I called Grandma Pam and improvised a little bit, as its not a recipe in my regular circulation and its not actually a recipe as my mom makes adds ingredients until it looks right. But Ellie liked it and ate quite a bit.
Also in yesterday's news, Cal and I went on a walk. He was awake for most of it. He enjoyed it as well.
