We arrived yesterday morning following a red eye flight with a change in NYC. We spent yesterday swimming and eating and napping and eating.
Today, we were rested for an early start at Magic Kingdom. We got there before 8am as we had reservations for breakfast at Be Our Guest, a magical restaurant in Beasts castle. Although Calvin didn’t want to eat in the west wing because it was too scary.
Then it was Mine Train (walk on), Peter Pan, Goofys Barnstormer, met Donald and Goofy, Dumbo, Space Mountain (Cal was too short for it here), People Mover (big hit), Thunder Mountain...
Ate lunch
Splash Mountain, Mine Train, met Gaston, Laugh Factory, met Buzz, Philharmagic (a favorite).
As we were waiting for our reservation for dinner we saw Calvin’s favorite baseball player, David Ross. He was with his family and Nick had a slow reaction time and Cal got shy (I was the one who spotted him) so they didn’t say anything or go up to him. But, he saw David Ross in the flesh.
Ate dinner at Be Our Guest. Ellie has lobster bisque followed by a filet mignon (in Disneyworld, Ellie is considered an adult now that’s she’s 10 so she gets to order off the adult menu). But she got the kids dessert which included frosting to paint your white chocolate tea cup.
After dinner it was Hall of Presidents (there were security guards and it got political at the end), Pirates, Haunted Manaion, fireworks, Buzz Lightyear (I got almost 450,000 points! Nick only had 150,000), and a second ride on People Mover.
Then we walked back to the hotel because the Monorail line was too long.
We hit everything that is unique here or vastly different (without being too princessy). And did our favorites twice.
