We had a rough evening with Ellie last night. She was in a mood and declared that her father and I only make her life difficult and we don’t do anything for her. 

So...

I left her clean laundry on her floor to be out away.

I told her to make her own lunch or take her own money to buy.

I told her to make her own breakfast while I made her brother bacon and eggs

I also told her she didn’t have a ride to school. 

At 7:30 this morning I told her she should probably leave if she was walking if she wanted to make it to school on time. Her response, “you were serious?”.

So she walked to school on her own. Well, she ran most of the way because she was afraid she would be late. I followed her in the car with Calvin. 

This evening she declared that she wants to walk everyday now. Apparently rly she saw a friend who was riding their bike and another friend who was walking.
