Susu and Matt are in town as well so the kids are living their best lives being spoiled by their grandparents and aunt and uncle.

Last day at Meher

Today was Calvin’s last day at Meher. It was my last drop off in the morning at Meher. It was bittersweet. We are going to miss everyone there so much and the school and everything they have given and done for us. It has been a rock since we first set foot there right after our move from Boston. I’ve gained a great friend in Ms Wildhaber...who I guess I can call by her first name only now...and I’ve watched both kids bloom while going to school there. We have so many memories and so many things we are going to miss. But...it’s on to the next chapter!

It was costume day...Cal went as a baseball player.

Last days at Meher

Calvin finishes his tenure at Meher on Friday. He’s aware and it’s weighing on him. He’s been a little moody and cried a couple times. I know he’s excited for kindergarten, but he’s super sad about leaving preschool.

My Friday was a long one. Starting before 3am and I picked up Calvin from friends (E was spending the night at a friends house) at 8pm. 

So Saturday my brain was mushy. I thought it would be a good idea to get junk food and watch a movie at home with the kids. They got a large bag of Cheeto puffs. Once the movie was on I fell asleep. Apparently Calvin at the entire bag of Cheetos. 

We walked to dinner where Calvin politely and calmly asked to go to the bathroom where he proceeded to vomit up the entire bag of Cheetos. It was orange.

We convinced Ellie to wash her hair which was starting to get super tangled overnight. It washed out some of the color in it but also turned it more “galaxy” with more blue and an super ombré effect. 

Calvin just had some bad bedhead.

Sunday movie

On Sunday we went to see Tou Story 4 and eat dinner. Nothing like an over air conditioned theater and movie junk food for dinner on a super hot summer day.
