Happy 4th of July!

Well, the day started off exciting with us feeling an earthquake with an epicenter pretty far away. I yelled for the kids to get under a table and we rode it out together. It took Ellie a little bit to wind down from the stress and excitement. 

But then we gathered up our bathing suits and headed to our friends parents house in San Marino for grilling, swimming and fireworks. The kids spent hours in the pool, I think Ellie and her two new bestie friends spent close to 5 hours swimming...stopping only for hot dogs, watermelon, and Rice Krispie treats. 

Then there was sparklers and tossing of a football. And eventually the big firework show.
