Art

We signed Calvin up for a few extracurriculars at school. One is art class and the other is soccer class. The soccer class is kinda fun to hear about. The coach has them “travel” and learn soccer skills and do drills in the new “environment”. One time the the ball was a dinosaur egg, another time they had to get the ball around all the volcanoes. It’s always a hoot hearing him talk about soccer class, formally called Soccer Shots. Actually he wasn’t sure he wanted to do soccer because he was afraid they would give them shots if they weren’t good enough. Ellie explained what a shot on goal was in soccer and then he was okay with class.

Monday is art class. I’ve been pretty impressed with the art he brings home. Today they made graveyards and ghosts. Apparently they drew their own graveyards and then painted by blowing paint through a straw.
